LASIK Los Angeles
Dr. Rabinowitz's experience and training with laser eye surgery in LA, Santa Clarita, Lancaster and the surrounding area is important when determining a patient's candidacy for LASIK. Please read the information below to learn more about Visian ICL, an alternative for patients who are not candidates for LASIK.
If you have significant nearsightedness, thin corneas, dry eyes or night vision problems, you're likely not a good candidate for LASIK. But now there's a new treatment that will allow you to decrease your dependence on glasses and contacts.
The FDA recently approved the STAAR Visian ICL, an implantable lens that corrects moderate to severe nearsightness (-3D to -20D) with a quick, minimally invasive procedure.
The Visian ICL is inserted into the eye through a small, micro incision. The lens unfolds in the eye and is positioned between the iris and the natural lens where it stays indefinitely. The procedure takes approximately 15 minutes and is performed on an outpatient basis.
The Visian ICL does not alter any structures within the eye or on the cornea. If necessary, it can be removed from the eye by a simple surgical procedure.
You won't be able to see the Visian ICL in your eye, and neither will anybody else. Exceptional quality of vision will be the only reminder that you have had 21st century vision correction.
To find out if the STAAR Visian ICL is right for you call (310) 423-9640 or (800) 701-4448 and make an appointment for a complimentary consultation.
Dr. Rabinowitz has decades of experience with cornea transplants and is also a highly sought after LA LASIK surgeon. He is also highly regarded as a leading Santa Clarita IntraLase specialist, in addition to helping keratoconus patients and those individuals seeking laser eye surgery in Lancaster.
