At the Cornea Genetic Eye Institute's Laser Vision (LASIK) Center we perform the very latest Down-Up LASIK technique using the Intralase laser providing a 100% blade free experience to produce a bladeless LASIK flap. Vision correction is then customized to your individual eye with the very latest Wavefront technology, either "Wavefront Optimized" with the Allegretto Wave laser (LASERWAVE) or "Wavefront Guided" with the VISX STAR S4 laser and its Custom Vue Wavefront software( iLASIK). Our Los Angeles LASIK center is the only one housing these two state-of-the-art lasers in one center. The choice of which technology is used, LASERWAVE or iLASIK, is determined by Dr. Rabinowitz and is dependent on the "fingerprint map" of your individual eye during your complimentary consultation.
